Upgrading to version 1.1:
Saving your saves
We've made a few changes to how Jardinains 2! saves your player information in version 1.1. Because of this, if you already have Jardinains 2 installed, you'll need to take a few extra steps if you want to keep your existing player information and save games. Don't worry, it's painless.
On OS X:
- Install the new version of Jardinains 2! and launch the game once. Then quit.
- Copy the folder: /Applications/Jardinains 2!/data/players
- Paste the folder in: (your home directory)/Library/Application Support/Magic Chopstick Games/Jardinains 2!/data/
On Windows:
- Install the new version of Jardinains 2! and launch the game once. Then quit.
- Copy the folder: C:\Program Files\Jardinains 2!\data\players
- Paste the folder in: C:\Documents and Settings\(your username)\Application Data\Magic Chopstick Games\Jardinains 2!\data\
On Linux:
- Install the new version of Jardinains 2! and launch the game once. Then quit.
- Copy the folder: (wherever you installed Jardinains 2! originally)/Jardinains 2!/data/players
- Paste the folder in: ~/.Jardinains2data/data/
You're all set! Re-launch the game and have fun!
